Formgivarna Bengt&Lotta om mönstret Fjällnäs

Designers Bengt&Lotta about the Fjällnäs pattern

The traditional feel of the pattern is perfect for wool socks, i.e. socks particularly suitable for hiking or skiing.

Fjällnäs is Sweden's oldest mountain guesthouse. For over 130 years, the guesthouse has been located in this beautiful location, surrounded by mountains and located right on the edge of Lake Malmagen in Härjedalen.

During a stay in this scenic environment, Bengt & Lotta were inspired to make a pattern that would bear the name of this cozy guesthouse. The character and feel of the pattern grew with inspiration from the carpentry on the buildings, but also with influences from old textiles and objects found at the local local history museum.

The Fjällnäs pattern has been used on socks, hats, scarves and blankets. The traditional feel works great on wool socks. That is, socks that are especially suitable for hiking and skiing. If you want to know more about Bengt & Lotta, see more at http://www.bengt-lotta.se/
